What types of Hair clips do you use?

We use two types of clips. The 1 3/4" Alligator Hair Clips and the 1 1/4" Snap Hair Clips. (Velcro is added inside for a tighter grip)

What hair clips are best for my baby who has hardly any hair and whose hair is very fine?

The 1 1/4" snap hair clips work best for babies with super fine hair! Take a quick look at the babies in the gallery. The 10 month old is my daughter. She has very little hair and what she does have is very thin but it only takes a few strands of hair to keep the hair clips in. I assure you it works, I started this business by designing a hair clip that would stay in my daughter's superfine barely there hair. The velcro strip is added security for a tighter grip too! Therefore, I highly recommend starting out any of the Baby Hair Clips.

My daughter has very thick, curly hair. What hair clips will work best for her?

Any hair clip that is made on an Alligator Clip 1 3/4" is going to work best at keeping the hair back and in place. I wouldn't rule out the Snap Clips 1 1/4" for the sake of accenting. It all comes down to personal preference.

Do you have a physical store?

No, we are an online store only. Unfortunately we don't take orders over the phone either. I'm a stay at home mom so i'm busy tending to my beautiful children. I can always be reached via e-mail.

Are the hair clips safe for babies?

Enjoy your Lil' Sugarplum hair accessories! They are carefully made however, Use Only With Adult Supervision. We recommend that you remove your child's hair accessories before nap-time, in the car seat (when they are out of your reach) and at daycare, bedtime etc because our products are small and could potentially become a choking hazard. Our Lil' Sugarplum hair accessories are for use at your own risk. By placing an order with us, you agree that Lil' Sugarplum accepts no liability for use/misuse or lack of supervision while using our products. Thank you!

Is it safe to place an order online through your website?

Yes, to protect you, our site is secured by 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which means credit card numbers are sent with strong encryption to the payment gateway. Therefore, Lil' Sugarplum does not keep a local copy of your credit card number. It only goes directly to the authorization and payment gateway, so there is no risk of stolen numbers from our database.

Do you take special orders?

Yes, i take custom orders at no extra charge. When you place an order, just leave a note for me at check out or feel free to e-mail me before you place your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Lil' Sugarplum will happily ship all over the world. Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand just to name a few. There is no extra charge to ship out of the USA, same shipping fees apply.

Do I need a Pay Pal account to order?

No, you don't. Although we use PayPal for our shopping cart and payment processing, you do not need a paypal account to order. Simply select "Check out with Paypal" from your shopping cart. Then select "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account" from the following screen..
